Health Precautions

​​​​​​​​The following is in place to care for my clients' health and well-being by guiding me appropriately to ensure I can carry out the Indian Head Massage to suit your individual needs. Below are a list of the contraindications:

Massage is one of the safest and most natural forms of therapy, however, there are certain circumstances when massage should temporarily be avoided

  • Recent accidents, injuries or surgical interventions

  • Acute infectious diseases (eg. flu, chest infection)

  • Infectious and contagious skin disorders

  • First trimester of pregnancy

  • Inflammation and swelling

  • Fever / high temperature

  • Recent whiplash

  • Psoriasis

If you have any of the following, please seek medical advice prior to booking​:

  • Cancer

  • Diabetes

  • Epilepsy​​​

  • Osteoporosis

  • Chronic Fatigue

  • Spondelites or Spondelosis
